How much does Binmates services cost?
We offer flexible plans tailored to your needs: We offer a simple monthly subscription service for residential homes at £19.95 and £34.95 for Airbnbs, businesses, short term rentals and vacation homes.
Can I cancel my subscription for the service?
Yes. There is no long term contract, you simply need to cancel your subscription and the service will no longer be available to you from the next month at the end of your current monthly subscription.
What happens if my bin collection is missed?
If your local council misses your bin collection, we will:
- Notify you of the missed service and provide guidance.
- If the council agrees to move the bin on another day, our movers would bring out your bin and take it back it is emptied.
What if my bins are damaged during the service?
Our team takes great care with your bins. However, if damage occurs, contact our support team, and we’ll work to resolve the issue promptly.
Do you offer services for businesses or multi-unit properties?

How do I become a BinMover?
- Sign Up: Visit BinMovers to complete the application.
- Background Check: Pass a simple screening process.

Anyone can apply to be a BinMover if they:
- Are at least 16 years old.
- Have a smartphone with internet access.
- Are physically fit to handle bins.
- Have a reliable mode of transportation (if necessary).
Do I need experience?
No prior experience is required. We provide all the necessary training to help you get started.
What areas can I work in?
BinMovers operate in all areas where Binmates services are available. You can choose locations based on your convenience.
We recommend you choose areas closest to you for efficiency and ease of coverage.
How much can I earn as a BinMover?
Your earnings depend on the number of jobs you complete.
How and when will I get paid?
Payments are made Bi-Monthly on fridays per movement (to and fro) through direct bank transfers.
Are there incentives or bonuses?
Yes! Binmates offers bonuses for:
- Refer new residents, property managers or businesses and earn up £10 per referral.
How do I accept jobs?
Jobs are assigned on our official Slack job channel.
Can I choose my own schedule?
Absolutely! As a BinMover, you’re free to set your availability and accept jobs that suit your schedule.
What happens if I can’t complete a job I accepted?
If you’re unable to complete a job, notify the Binmates support team as soon as possible via slack. Late cancellations may impact your earnings.
Am I an employee of Binmates?
No, BinMovers are independent contractors, which means you work for yourself and set your own schedule.
Do I need to handle my taxes?
Yes, as an independent contractor, you are responsible for managing your taxes. Binmates can provide a summary of your earnings to help during tax season.
